Gold, Silver jewellery auctions boom in USA
Gold, silver and diamonds are the most modern commodities in the shopping record of US buyers for the duration of the current festival season. Precious metals exporters from top countries like India have informed a burst in the American buying for gold, silver and diamond jewellery items.
"Export orders from numerous US companies for expensive metals and jewellery products in gold, silver and diamonds have left up at least 20% this season. It seems precious metals objects are going to be hot buying things for the holiday shoppers during Christmas and New Year," Avinash Tiwari, an exporter of gold, silver and polished diamonds from India said.
The festival time in the US begins with Thanksgiving in November and persisting till Christmas, New Year and ends with Mother's Day in February. Festival rummage sales of gold and silver jewellery are expected to strike a record this year, said Tiwari.
According to the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Goldman Sachs, approximately 81 million shoppers beat the stores in the US throughout Thanksgiving weekend and they facilitated to improve weekly chain-store sales by 3.5 percent from one year ago. Black Friday contracts and serious discounting illustrates shoppers into the stores for the yearly start to Christmas shopping season. In general for the week, ending November 27, retail sales at the chains increases by 0.5 percent from the previous week subsequent two weeks of lethargic sales.

Modern INSA 10-Inch Elephant Dung Heels!
London-based-fine artist and fashion designer, INSA, was one of famous six artists asked by Tate Britain arcade to produce a response to a modern show by artist Chris Ofili (New Yorker may consider him from his paintings, “The Holy Virgin Mary,” which used elephant dung as a substance and which then mayor Rudy Guiliani strived to have excluded from a Brooklyn Museum show). INSA responded with the 10-inch (!!) elephant-dung heels featured here. According to the press release, “INSA repeated the path of Chris Ofili completed over 15 years ago and supplied dung from the same family of elephants that produced the dung used in Chris’s well-known paintings of the nineties.”
Stylish boot cuts for Men
This project was SO much fun -- from ordinary to astonishing with OESD's Men's Fashion design collection #12260, BERNINA Embroidery Software 6, and the BERNINA CutWork Tool & Software.
First scanned the boots and loaded the photo into the embroidery software, where used the image as a template for planning embroidery.
Then unzipped the boot, and laid it flat on the stabilizer. After sometime loaded the CutWork DRAW file into embroidery machine, then stitched the first color -- an outline to place the suede piece into and sprayed a small 505 Temporary Fabric Adhesive on the back of the suede fleur-de-lis, affixed it on the boot, and continued stitching the rest of the design.

Florist inspired in Fashion show
FLOWERS have inspired SHOW studio Shop's latest presentation. Florist sees a host of the design world's key players, as well as Giles Deacon and Vivienne Westwood, come together with their personal tribute to all things floral.
"Nick Knight has an extensive standing relationship with flowers - he takes still life shots of roses every year and sends them to people as Christmas cards," says Carrie Scoot, manager of SHOWstudio Shop. "Personally I started to thinking of flowers after seeing the method American artist Mary Temple's uses them in her work.
Then Michael Howells did those incredible flowers at the Dior dressmaking show in the summer and I just started seeing them everywhere. The thought blossomed - excuse the pun. I thought 'If we don't do this we'll be missing an instant.'"
